Re: What songs do you tune your PA with ? I don't use any music to tune the PA. Listening to music is the last part of my process. I use a variety of music for different purposes and to expose different ''parts'' of the PA. If I hear something I don't like, I try and see if there is anything I can do about it-or not. Sometimes there is-sometimes not. In no particular order-and I don't use the same things all the time. Randy Travis-really brings out any ''honk'' in a system. Allison Krauss-Percussive attacks of Bluegrass are good for hearing detail and seperation-smeared attacks/times etc Janis Ian-Breaking Silence. A well produced album with little processing and some great dynamics AC-DC With the ''openness of the music, you can hear room issues (reflections/reverb delay interference) in the spaces in the music. Linn Recordings-Various Hi end test tunes my son got for me at the local Ferrari dealership (yeah-kinda odd ) but they are well produced. Various rock tracks for that almighty kick drum test. Suzanne Vega-Toms Diner Great solo vocal I generally avoid live recordings and music that I am not familiar with-as I don't know how it is ''supposed'' to sound.
