I wouldn't want to be using a floor jack on the side of the road.
Bottle or scissor are the only real ''portable'' options.

Well you would have to check if you can jack off of the frame, the box, or the axle itself, but if you have the room to be carrying a large jack, I find ladder jacks to be the most versitile.
If it is just for tire changing a scissors jack with appropriate capacity is fine. Most trailers frames are too low for a bottle jack.
