It just sounds so nice on vocals. I am working on a show with a pit chorus right now and I love it for that. Other than that, I don't really have a favorite; each mic has its time and place and I think they mostly do a pretty good job when I use them in applications that they are good for. I can't really compare an E6 and an SM57 obviously.
