I have a 250' W4 with two bad channels. It was easy to patch around, but now I am selling it, so I need to have it repaired. Shipping it would be very expensive, so I am looking for a local option. I live in 01075 if anyone nearby can handle this. Or if anyone is looking for a killer deal on the 250', a fanout, and a stage box, wired 48 in 10 return, let me know.

Not the box or the fan. I plugged the box into the fan into the console and they all tested fine. Visual inspection of the pins looks fine, but I am not well versed in that area. Nothing noticeably wrong with the trunk. It was never run over or abused. My educated guess would be that it is a pin issue, as I have caught crew members connecting it in the past.

Call whirlwind and ask them if they can recommend anyone close to you. I would send it back to whirlwind if I couldn’t fix it myself.

I am about to tackle some old whirlwind multi pins. They don’t get used much but I need them soon. It came back from a cross rental with the new issues. First I have to figure out exactly where the problems are. Like you last time I used them I just didn’t use the bad channels. I really want all of the channels working for this upcoming show. I fixed one channel on this snake once before and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I left Scott at Sonix a message this morning but haven't heard back.

Kevin, it is a 250' 58 pair. I would have to ship it back in a road case, which weighs over 100 pounds itself. The shipping cost is prohibitive.
