White lapel microphones????

Anyone know of any white lapel mics with a white cable.
I know Countryman has a couple, but their out of the budget range for this.
I'm about to try painting the body and cable on one of my AT831's and
getting a white wind screen.

Will a white windscreen and some careful use of white electrical tape or heatshrink tube work for you?

Looks like all the Countryman lavs are available in white, including the EMW (which is somewhat less expensive).

The capsule for the Shure WL183/4/5 is available in white, but I don't think the rest of the mic is. Might be worth a call the Shure though.

It about has to be white, think brides dress.
Heatshrink on the cable is an idea, paint on the cable most likely would not hold
up in the long term.

Maybe white shoe dye on the cable. Think nursing shoes.

Mike,

You might also consider nude/flesh-toned elements. The bride may not be overly-keen on being wired up on her wedding day. Have you considered wiring up the groom? You could (more often than not) use black.

The groom and the paster will be "wired" and that has worked decent in the past depending on everyone's positioning on picking the bride. I just wanted to have a white mic option available to use if possible.
