MSL3's are a favorite box of mine, but the words replace on the tops and the word clone on the subs are a flag to me, especially when it is listed as a system.

To me it looks like when the whole mess of them had the 2445 (Meyer's MS2001) installed when the older HF parts were discontinued. I don't see a problem there. Looks like a good maintenence plan to me.
The 650 clones may or may not be worth it. But even without subs you'd have a 12 over 6 MSL-3/DS-2 rig. Use your own subs and this would be a rocking setup. You could fly them 3x3 where each row had 2 tops with a midbass in the middle. Gives you proper splay and a full range rig in the air.
