X32 Fader Problem

Hi, everyone. I am new in the forum and would appreciate your guidance. ~:-D~:grin:

I post this threat on behalf of my brother who owns an X32.

We meet a problem when using the X32. The faders sometimes just could not back to the preset position! It is not all the faders but just one or two.

Did anyone in the forum ever met this problem?

Kary, a quick Google search will confirm that your problem is not unique. I know the X32 at a venue I work at had two bad faders right out of the box.

Did your problem get resolved?

Has anyone swapped a fader on an x32 yet? I'm wondering how hard a job it is.

Actually swapping requires some soldering I believe, but most of the time the problem is likely to be the belt, the sprocket moving on the motor shaft. Resetting the sprocket and securing with some locktite will likely resolve the situation.
In any case, the main job is the disassembly, this board is definitely not made for field servicing.
