I didn't want to post this in the current X32 thread because it's so active I know it will get lost. Problem is when I use the talk back regardless if it's the internal or external talkback I get a fluttering sound in the mixes. I have used the desk 3 times and all 3 times when I talk to the band on the talkback through the monitor mixes they have all told me it sounded bad yet they could hear me it just had a lot of noise and fluttering in it. I ignored it at first. Then last night I soloed my Aux 1 with headphones on and used the external talkback and they were correct I hear a lot of fluttering sound almost louder than my voice. Has anyone noticed this? I have also discovered that the internal talkback mic is almost to hot to use. I can barely crack it open and the wedges start to feed back more than 60 feet away facing the other direction. Is this normal?
