XR18 and Windows 10?

It appears the Behringer forum locks when I submit a message. Let's try it here.
after updating my numer2 laptop (number 1 is stolen on the job in Germany, a couple of weeks agof ?) the XR 18 driver cannot be installed. Windows is faster and so blocking the Behringer installer.
Anybody?

I don't have win10 myself but I checked with the RnD and they are not aware of any issues so far and have successfully run this setup.

Few things to try..

1) run as administrator by right clicking
2) see number 1

One way or another, I have the driver installed. The problem is still there.
Windows does not always recognise the XR18 as a XR18.
Cannot remember the message in device manager.
At this moment it is ok.
When it is not, switching te XR18 off and on again solvee the problem...

I've got the idea that the usb cable was causing the problem.
