Re: Yamaha Stage Mix 2.0 News With version 3 due out in a few weeks it's nice to say that for free application they are making great leaps each release. The next version will add panning, channel naming and even a tap tempo button for your delay. All of this technology is so new that the apps are wanting to move faster than the other parts of the system- i.e. routers. It will just take time to really get it all worked out. I currently use my LS9 for a duo show that has been dialed in for 18 months so i don't need to access much more than basic eq and fader control. This show plays relatively small venues and me cutting seats is always an option, but an expensive one to the promoter. They never see the value of me having all the tools I need to do my job... until after the show. Would I want to mix the entire band on it? No- but I could if I had to do so. And with side of stage mixing common for wedding reception and cocktail parties it's a great way to deliver good mixes. Even when i have a proper FOH placement I still use the iPad for adjusting EQ's. It's so much faster than scrolling through the racks and it's the touch screen I've always wanted on the LS9
