Great story. A young local girl had been through a year of cancer treatment and the medical bills were pilling up. Her uncle, who is an avid KISS fan and has a massive KISS collection, decided to hold a fund raiser to help pay the bills. The uncle booked a local venue and brought in a KISS tribute band and auctioned off all his KISS stuff. Somehow, Gene Simons found about it and donated 2 signed guitars, helped pay some of the medical bills, and sent down a recorded video message for the event. The band was really good and put on a good show.
