Beirut, Lebanon (July 2016) – Professional full-service event production provider CKA recently supplied an Adamson E-Series sound reinforcement system to support the Kohar Symphony Orchestra and Choir. The orchestra and choir performed traditional Armenian music at the Forum de Beirut to a sold out crowd.
“The Forum has a high reverberation time which translates into pretty bad acoustics,” explains Chadi Akiki, owner of CKA. “The directionality of the Adamson PA was a tremendous help. The end result was quite exceptional.”
CKA hung left and right line arrays, each made up of eight E12 modules, along with a center cluster of six more E12s. Eight E218 subwoofers created a center cluster under the stage for additional low end. CKA also utilized eight Metrix line array modules for front fills along the lip of the stage. Outfill was handled by left and right arrays of six S10 modules each.
“We provided the symphony with many product demonstrations and in the end they were sold on Adamson,” adds Akiki. “We have added sixteen S10 modules to our inventory – which we are quite pleased with. We already have plans to keep them busy throughout the summer months.”
CKA is one of Lebanon’s largest production companies supplying and operating sound systems for many major performing artists in the region as well as for festivals, concerts, fashion shows, weddings, conferences and other events.
“We take pride in providing top of the line equipment as well as a fully stocked parts and services department to ensure performance and reliability,” he concludes. “The addition of Adamson to our inventory will help us continue our goal of making every client’s idea come to life.”
