[ATTACH=CONFIG]201354.vB5-legacyid=14116[/ATTACH]Santa Monica, CA (February 18, 2016) – Audio Bloggers Live! announces its debut with the launch of a first-ever charity event which includes exhibits, lectures, panels and workshops, featuring a number of noted audio bloggers and industry legends including Bob Clearmountain (Bruce Springsteen, Roxy Music, David Bowie,) Mick Guzauski (Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Prince,) and Dylan Dresdow (Prince, Madonna, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Black Eyed Peas.) Founded by producer/engineer Ronan Chris Murphy (King Crimson, Ulver, Steve Morse, Terry Bozzio,) this premiere event will be held on March 6, 2016 from 10 am to 6 pm at the historic Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, with100% of all net proceeds benefitting Phoenix House, including a raffle featuring thousands of dollars’ worth of recording gear, software and services.
The mission of the Audio Bloggers Live! Event is twofold; the first is to raise money to support the Phoenix House teen drug rehabilitation programs that use music and recording as part of a comprehensive approach to help teens battling drug and alcohol addiction, and the second is to create an event where audio friends and fans in the virtual world can gather together in the real world.

Is intended to be the first event of its kind to help friends and peers from the online world connect in person.”
The Audio Bloggers Live! Program will be hosted by pioneers in audio blogging and alternative education in the field of audio recording, including Graham Cochrane, founder of The Recording Revolution (Florida,) Joe Gilder, founder of Home Studio Corner (Nashville,) Ian Shepherd, founder of Production Advice (U.K.,) and Ronan Chris Murphy, founder of Recording Boot Camp (Los Angeles.) In addition to teaching their own workshops at Audio Bloggers Live!, the bloggers will be hosting panels and in depth interviews with some of the biggest names in music recording including Clearmountain, Guzauski and Dresdow, as well as John Rodd (Star Wars Battlefront, Elysium, World of Warcraft), Brian Lucey (Sigur Ros, The Black Keys, Lucinda Williams), and several others.
The Program will include a variety of mixing and mastering panels, as well as a panel on music for television and film. Mick Guzauski will sit down with Graham Cochrane to talk about the making of Daft Punk’s landmark album, Random Access Memories, which Guzauski engineered and mixed. A highlight of the mixing panels also be a live interview by Ronan Chris Murphy (King Crimson, Ulver, Steve Morse, Terry Bozzio), who will talk to Bob Clearmountain and Dylan Dresdow about their work mixing some of the most iconic records of the past 30 years. The mastering panel will feature three of L.A.’s top mastering engineers, John Rodd (World of Warcraft, Elysium, Star wars Battlefront, Breaking Bad), Maor Appelbaum (Yes, Halford, Faith No More, Sepultura) and Brian Lucey (Ray LaMontagne, The Black Keys, Ringo Starr, Sigur Ros), who will talk about mastering in the 21st Century with moderator Ian Shepherd (Keane, Tricky, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Deep Purple.) And Joe Gilder will moderate a panel of music supervisors and licensing pros to discuss what producers and musicians need to know to get their music into film and television.
