Behringer Powers Daft Punk Grammy Performance

3/5/2014 Walking away with a total of 5 trophies at The Recording Academy’s recent 2014 Grammy Awards, French robot rockers Daft Punk are certainly no strangers to success. The duo was recognized with awards for album of the year, best dance/electronica album, best engineered album, record of the year and best pop duo/group performance. And the Behringer BCR2000 was at the heart of the system used during their amazing live performance with Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and Nathan East.

Even now, when at the pinnacle of their career and they can have anything the industry has to offer, Daft Punk still relies on the Behringer equipment they’ve used since day one – mainly the rock-solid BCR2000 Total-Recall USB/MIDI Controller. No less than 14 BCR2000s were built into the robots’ mixing booth for the Grammy performance – giving them the freedom to adjust any parameter on the fly in total confidence, thanks to the BCR2000’s rugged build-quality and legendary performance.

“We are both honored and humbled that Daft Punk puts their trust in our legacy BCR2000 controller,” stated Joe Sanborn. “They are in excellent company, as our rapidly growing list of world-class performers can attest. We congratulate Daft Punk on these well-deserved awards, and look forward to being there as they continue to build on their incredible legacy.”
