1/22/2015 Los Angeles- Behringer introduces 3 new stage box solutions for its award-winning X32 digital console, providing even greater flexibility in both form factor and I/O options. Both SD series models are packed into a convenient “stage box” format with the S32 expanding on the current S16 for maximum flexibility.
The SD8 (8 x 8) and SD16 (16 x 8) provide MIDAS-designed remote-controllable mic preamps, balanced analog XLR returns at the stage end, plus an integrated ULTRANET distribution hub for digital connection with Behringer’s P16-M personal monitor mixers as well as Turbosound’s networkable speaker systems.
The SD stage boxes are extremely compact, rackmountable and protected by rugged bumpers for years of reliable use and service. Just a single CAT5e cable per unit is all that’s required for connection to FOH or the studio control room. Dual AES50 ports allow the user to cascade multiple units as part of a complete X32 system, with no merger or routers required.
Expanding on the functionality and connectivity of the well-received S16, the S32 I/O Interface doubles the I/O in a rackmountable design, with an impressive 32 MIDAS-designed mic preamps, 16 XLR outs, two AES50 ports, MIDI I/O and dual ADAT outs.
The new stage boxes are part of the ever-expanding X32 eco system.
Available at a suggested U.S. MAP of $599.99 (SD8), $799.99 (SD16) and $1,499.99, respectively – and are covered by MUSIC Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
