At the risk of asking a stupid question….. can you install an Internal Top Hat Metal Speaker Pole Mount (see photo below) in the bottom of Community R.5 speakers, so they can be used as portable speakers on tripod speaker stands? Here are the measurement specs:

1 3/8″ tripod speaker mounts

3 5/8″ deep

3 1/8″ from hole to hole across

2 1/4″ from hole to hole side by side
Totally the wrong tool for that job but you could put a pole mount on the yoke they come with.

Do you mean something like this adapter?

I guess you would tighten the yoke on the underside of the speaker, and then attach the adapter to the yoke using the bolt? Then, assuming that adapter fits the stand that I bought, it would stay on top of the stand?

    Thanks,
    Chris
