The HD2 is a high end 4 in 8 out loudspeaker management system with advanced features such as FIR filtering with high frequency resolution down to the lowest frequencies and a dynamic input range of 135 dB.
Rainer Thaden, Four Audio’s Managing Director remarks, “Instead of emulating familiar IIR crossovers with FIR filters, we use measurements of the speakers and do the inverse of what the speaker does.” Thaden adds, “You can make the complete system of speaker and controller phase linear, even down to the lowest frequencies. Of course, all kinds of familiar IIR crossovers can be used, too.”
Audinate delivers a no-hassle, self configuring, true plug-and-play digital audio network that uses standard internet protocols. Audinate’s Dante system offers a market leading solution today, while future-proofing implementations by providing a migration path to upgrade to new standards such as the IEEE Audio Video Bridging (“AVB”).
