At InfoComm 2014, visit the Meyer Sound demo room N110 and show booth C9725 to learn how its expanding self-powered loudspeaker offerings can provide a sonic and logistical edge to your next project. These products range from remotely powered installation loudspeakers featuring IntelligentDC technology, to the new flagship linear sound reinforcement systems LEO™ and LYON™ and the AVB-capable CAL™ column array loudspeaker.
IntelligentDC systems are a range of self-powered loudspeakers driven by the remote IntelligentDC power supply, with one cable carrying power and balanced audio to reduce installation time and cost. Packing all the benefits of self-powering, including consistency and reliability, these systems are ideal for many commercial distributed installations and other systems that demand exceptional audio quality, as well as for where local AC outlets are not available or possible. For an introduction to the IntelligentDC, refer to this Meyer Sound FAQ: http://meyersound.com/news/2014/intelligentdc_faq/.
The InfoComm demos show configurations most commonly found in today’s integration projects, and feature a number of products with IntelligentDC technology: the MM-4XP self-powered loudspeaker, the UPJunior-XP and UPJ-1XP VariO™ loudspeakers, the UP-4XP loudspeaker, and the UMS-1XP and MM-10 subwoofers. Another remotely powered installation loudspeaker, the Stella-8C, is also demonstrated.
Also showcased in the live demos is the MJF-210, the lightest stage monitor in the Meyer Sound product line, and the steerable CAL column array loudspeaker.

Complemented by the 1100-LFC low-frequency control element and the Galileo® Callisto™ loudspeaker management system, LEO Family products can anchor a powerful system for installations in everything from large auditoriums to arenas and stadiums, as well as tours and festivals.
In addition, live technical demonstrations on the Meyer Sound stand and the AVnu Alliance Pavilion showcase the power of Audio Video Bridging (AVB) interoperability, featuring the CAL loudspeaker routing audio signals on an AVB network.
As part of the InfoComm University education program, Buford Jones, live audio and education specialist for Meyer Sound, leads two sessions on Wednesday, June 18. “Principles of Live Mixing” takes place at 10:30 am and “Mix It Up—Live Audio Workshop” at 12:30 pm.
