Renowned innovator of professional loudspeaker technologies David Gunness will be speaking at the Toronto Audio Engineering Society (AES) “The State of the Sound” Seminar on September 23-24, 2018. This special AES Toronto Section 50th Anniversary Seminar will be held at Sheridan College’s Screen Industries Research and Training Centre in the Pinewood Toronto Studios. 

Fulcrum Acoustic co-founder/vice president of R&D David Gunness will appear as an Audio Technology session panelist on Sunday, September 23rd, and share his observations regarding loudspeakers and specifications on Monday the 24th.

Gunness holds numerous patents, including the world’s first stadium-scale digitally steered sound system, a suite of innovative processing techniques marketed as “Gunness Focusing™” and, most recently, Passive Cardioid Technology™. He is also responsible for dozens of other innovations, products and technologies. In 2008, Gunness formed Fulcrum Acoustic with co-founder/president Stephen Siegel to continue his career-long pursuit of creating new and better loudspeakers through the innovative use of digital signal processing and breakthrough acoustical design.
