WESTLAKE VILLAGE, California – June 2017 — L-Acoustics, whose flagship line array systems are the first choice for many of the world’s top Christian touring artists—including Hillsong United and Chris Tomlin—is taking its latest technologies on a tour of houses of worship across the United States from July through November. Six churches currently using the manufacturer’s K2 and/or Kara systems will serve as the host sites for free HOW-specific demonstrations of L-Acoustics’ new Syva and Kiva II loudspeaker systems.
With K2 and Kara well-recognized on numerous prominent tours and in larger sanctuaries welcoming thousands of audience members, L-Acoustics’ Worship Roadshow will also allow ministry and production teams serving smaller congregations to experience how they can achieve similar impact with other products in the company’s lineup.
In particular, the recent launches of the ultra-compact Kiva II line array and Syva segment source enable small- to mid-sized venues to benefit from an L-Acoustics sound system that provides impeccable message delivery—even in the face of potential obstacles like low ceilings, challenging acoustics or other architectural concerns.
The Syva segment source is ideal for houses of worship searching for an easily portable solution or rapid and discreet installed system. Syva introduces L-Acoustics’ line-source heritage into a plug-and-play format, which is simple to use and quick to deploy, making it an attractive option for volunteer worship teams. Its sleek design allows it to blend into any architecture and its exceptional surface coverage and long projection capability impart consistent, clear sound across a wide, deep audience field
The Kiva II line source is lightweight yet powerful, allowing for a small array to be tucked tight against a ceiling, leaving room for clear sightlines so the congregation can concentrate on what matters—the message and music. Both Syva and Kiva II offer broad bandwidth, permitting them to adapt to all content formats.
Each event will culminate with a demonstration of the permanently installed house K2 and/or Kara system, and L-Acoustics Regional Sales Manager BJ Shaver and Applications Engineer Josh Maichele will present the Worship Roadshow in tandem with the technical teams at each host site.
