On Tuesday, the first demo is at 11:30 AM and the last is at 3:30 PM; on Wednesday, the first demo is at 9:00 AM and the last at 4:30 PM; and on Thursday, the first is at 9:00 AM and the last at 12:00 PM.
Audiences, theatre operators, and the film production community have taken notice of the new level of power and clarity that EXP has introduced, including Wim Wenders, director of “Pina,” an Oscar nominee this year, as well as “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Wings of Desire,” and “Paris, Texas.”
“I’ve seen ‘Pina’ in many theatres all over the world,” Wenders states. “What I can safely say is that ‘Pina’ sounds best in theatres equipped with Meyer Sound EXP. It is a quality that is truly addictive.”
EXP systems have gained widespread acceptance as the ideal complement to 3D digital cinema at theatres across North America, Asia, and Europe, including the Grand XL screens at Cinetopia in Oregon and 60 screens at CinemaxX in Germany and Denmark.
On the post-production side, EXP monitoring systems have been installed at renowned facilities such as Skywalker Sound, Wildfire Studios, and American Zoetrope in California, as well as De Lane Lea in London.
