BUENA PARK, Calif. (October 12, 2016)—Yamaha Corporation Japan has announced the release of the “MonitorMix” application for Android. “MonitorMix for Android” is now available via free download from Google Play.

The “MonitorMix” application for Yamaha CL, QL, and TF Series consoles allows individual wireless monitor mixing from up to 10 iOS and Android devices simultaneously. This will enable musical performers to have convenient control over the monitor buses assigned to them, without having to deal with complex settings or parameters. They can also create personal Group settings for an even easier adjustment; for example, all instrument levels on just one fader.

“With the release of “MonitorMix” for Android, we are able to expand our customers’ experiences with a wider range of wireless devices, states Marc Lopez, director of marketing for CA products, Yamaha Professional Audio. “We are delighted to meet the needs of our customers by expanding this App to Android users.”
