Las Vegas, NV, November 2016 – Music Mix Mobile will utilize a 40 fader Lawo mc²36 in its Voyager mobile to deliver the audio mix for the musical performances at the 2016 Latin Grammys held on November 17 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The ‘biggest night in Latin Music’ will be broadcast by the Univision network. Renowned Mixer Eric Schilling will handle the music mixing duties for the event.
Joel Singer, Chief Engineer of Music Mix Mobile, commented, “We currently have two Lawo mc²56’s in our Eclipse and Horizon units, and the mc²36 made perfect sense for Voyager. We’re committed to deliver the highest possible audio quality for our clients.” He continues, “From the mixer’s perspective, it helps that the ease of use allows them to focus on the end result – a more faithful reproduction of the musical performances for the broadcast audience. Lawo consoles are truly optimized for live entertainment production workflows, not to mention their amazing transparency and copious headroom, which makes them a joy to use and welcome additions to our trucks.”
The Voyager mobile was equipped with an mc²36 forty fader console and Waves Integrated Server that delivers a non-blocking 512×512 matrix routing capacity with baseband and IP networking capability offering complete flexibility to assign sources to any destinations on the network.
