The series, designed for inland direct weather and general-purpose environments, currently consists of the 104/STH, 106/STH and 108/STC. The announcement was made by Doug MacCallum,president of One Systems, Inc. The Silver Series will debut at InfoComm Booth #5771 in Orlando.
“We are very excited to offer systems integrators new budget-conscious direct weather loudspeaker options,” explains MacCallum. “Our Platinum Hybrid loudspeakers are designed for use in both marine environments, very demanding general purpose inland environments, and most indoor venues. The Silver Series is ideal for inland applications that may not require the advanced protection from the elements that Platinum Hybrid models offer, but at very competitive price points.”
The compact 104/STH is a two-way design featuring a 4.5-inch woofer and delivers 40 Watts of continuous power handling, while the 106/STH two-way system utilizes neodymium components and produces 80 Watts from a very small footprint. The 108/STC has an 8-inch coaxial design and delivers 150 Watts continuous power. The Silver Series is a high value alternative for Direct Weather loudspeakers and is designed to complement the One Systems Platinum Hybrid loudspeakers. Silver Series loudspeakers feature IEC 529 IP 56 ingress protection, with the 108/STC providing an IP 45 design that is also configurable to IP 56.
The loudspeakers utilize stainless steel for all rigging points used in conjunction with One Systems optional pole mount brackets or pan/tilt brackets. The included U-Bracket and grilles are made from a structural steel coating with a highly durable dual layer zinc rich powder coating.
