[ATTACH=JSON]205920.vB5-nodeid=205920[/ATTACH]Putnam, CT – March 31, 2017 – Rational Acoustics LLC announced today that future versions of their industry leading Smaart v8 and Di v2 software will add support for 10EaZy hardware as well as incorporate core features from 10EaZy SPL measurement software directly into the Smaart user interface.
Merging the powerful, flexible measurement environment offered by Smaart with the straightforward turn-key SPL monitoring solution from 10EaZy will bring added functionality, efficiency & accuracy to both products.
Beginning with the release of Smaart v8.2 in May of 2017, connecting 10EaZy hardware to a computer running Smaart, either Mac or PC, will automatically enable a set of key elements from 10EaZy within the Smaart user interface. This gives Smaart users access to features like 10EaZy’s popular “Maximum Average Manager” (MAM) feature and means that Smaart will be able to provide certified, class-compliant SPL measurements when used with 10EaZy’s Class1 or Class 2 hardware. For 10EaZy users, this means that their hardware can now be used on the Mac platform through Smaart. The new integration also supports measuring SPL from multiple 10EaZy units simultaneously.

Discounted bundles of Smaart software plus 10EaZy systems will be available within the US via the Rational Acoustics online store upon the release of Smaart v8.2. 10Eazy Class 1, Class 2 and RT systems can still be purchased separately and 10EaZy software will still be included with the purchase of any 10EaZy system.
