TURBOSOUND Launches new Milan series at NAMM

1/23/2013 Anaheim, CA — Award-winning British professional audio manufacturer TURBOSOUND returns to NAMM this year with the world debut of its brand new Milan series of powered loudspeakers.

The new Milan series has been completely re-engineered from the ground up for 2013 to combine improved performance with ultimate convenience for musicians, DJs and AV applications in a range of stylish portable powered loudspeakers with an unmistakable sound signature enhanced by the industry’s most sophisticated DSP.

Encompassing a total of five stylish loudspeakers including the brand new 12” two-way M12 and compact 15” bandpass M15B subwoofer, the Milan series benefits from significantly uprated and highly efficient Class-D amplifiers providing massive headroom to deliver incredible dynamic range with clarity and definition. Full-range models feature 1,000 watts of bi-amplified power coupled with sophisticated KLARK TEKNIK digital signal processing, while the two subwoofer models are powered by 1,500 watt amplifiers with integral stereo crossovers, allowing left / right stereo systems to be built with only one subwoofer.

The M10, M12 and M15 two-way full range loudspeakers all sport two fully independent channels with electronically balanced mic and line inputs, two-band EQ and a Mix Out function to easily extend a Milan system with additional speakers. The switchable 100 Hz low-pass filter ensures seamless integration when teamed with subwoofers, or when used on the floor as wedge monitors.

Dynamic EQ and intelligent limiting ensure that sound quality is optimised for speech or music at all levels, while the subtly illuminated front logos alert the user of the onset of limiting.

See the new Milan series and other TURBOSOUND products on booth #5740 in Hall B at the Anaheim Convention Centre from January 24 – 27, 2013.
