Getting ready to send a customer's XTi2000 in for service, I am renting them a XTi4000 while their amp is in for repair. I saved the preset file they have made for their Turbosound TQ440 to my tablet and plan to load it up on the loaner amp.

Should I reduce the output level on the XTi4000 to match up with the XTi2000 that will be driving the other side of the PA? If so, should it be a 3 or 6 dB reduction?

Thanks

Looks like a 1.3dB difference in voltage gain. Amps are VOLTAGE amplifiers, not current amplifiers. Use Band Manager or System Architect to reduce the 4000's inputs by 1.3dB.
