Anal forum tweak requests

No, it's not a double en tundra. I'd like to request that the post titles be a smaller font. Same with the quote titles. They seem a bit kindergarten to me

Otherwise I'm likin' it. If I can think of more anal requests, I'll be sure to post here.

Does the 'home' button have to be so far from home?



(I sort of like it being close - and on the left of - the PM icon.



Is the logo a Tattoo? If yes, that's nice and all, but maybe a something could be done with the formatting?

I think that's Bennett's tattoo! We just threw it up instead of the default cupid for now. There's still a lot of work to be done with the layout. That's all on our list.

Well, it's fancy pants and all that, but it takes up more screen real estate which is a pain on smaller laptops and such. Also, the large bold italic at the beginning of quotes breaks up the word unnaturally. I'd also loose the single quote mark which is huge and not necessary. Plus, why do only one? Quotes need and end quote. It's strange.

I think that's Bennett's tattoo! We just threw it up instead of the default cupid for now. There's still a lot of work to be done with the layout. That's all on our list.

I see it's been tweaked already... Great job whoever is getting to all this stuff so quickly.

I agree about the screen space. I'm on my MBP right now, but once I'm on the iphone I'm sure I'll have different views.



One minor thing I'm noticing is that you can't see the text of the unread reply in the email. I'm not sure how these things work, but it was nice to be able to see replies right in the email on another familiar forum, and would be GREAT to see PM's in emails too (though I suspect it's not possible).



It sucks to click a link and the only new information is '' +1 Dude '' or ''

''

The only thing I don't like (and didn't like on the old site either) is that if you read a post with a later posting-all the pervious ones (even if unread) are marked as read.



This is a pain when a thread takes a couple of different turns and when using Tree view.



I would like to see the thread as read-only if I have actually read it.



It may not be possible-but just a ''wish''.

I'm pretty happy with the initial settings and layout. One thing that is really bothering me is the email notifications, there's no preview of the post included with it! It's not always convenient to have to log onto a comp and navigate to the site or wait for it to load up over 3G on a cellphone.

But now I'm seeing another weird behavior: posts I click on in tree view are saying red instead of indicating they've been read. Weird.

Since Andy hasn't made an appearance yet, I'll jump in as a temporary grammar cop and chastise Greg for improper use of the term ''loose'' in the place of lose.

Just to recap, ''loose'' is used when referring to a nut that's not tight or when describing your dream date's morals. ''Lose'' is when you didn't make it to at least third base on your date or when you want to get rid of something.



That ought to drive traffic....

This may be a limitation of the forum software.

Have to say it looks great on Ipad! very clean, I tend to use that more than my laptop these days. (battery lasts MUCH longer)
