Hi I just got a little Crest XR20 and all the patching is on the back where I cannot access it with the current roadcase I have. Is there a vendor for the rack rails that ratchet up to an angle and lock into place ? I have seen them on some skb cases and some other mixer cases. Drop a link if have any info. Thanks.

Re: Adjustable Rack Rails?

I have a gator case with the popup for a mixwiz. I still had to fold the input section down. I am not sure if you can just buy the rack rail part.

By the way, that XR20 is an absolutely sweet little mixer.

Re: Adjustable Rack Rails?

Always and loved and hated that about this mixer. If it doesn't work out for you then maybe the next option would be to built a quick disconnect for the items that are found under the hood. Seems like I remember that all of the aux masters, matrices and sub groups are under there. Most people that I have seen have had one of those gig rig style molded systems our a stronger version of a studio rack with the top slanted. They do make a hinged rack system, but it's more for patch panels that wouldn't need the clearance that the Crest would need (because of it's depth)

You might also give R&R cases a call and see what they have done for this mixer.
