well, he had great mic technique

Re: America F**k YEAH!!!

The word "interment" would be better than "burial." But Americans have never been terribly precise with the English language....

Re: America F**k YEAH!!!

The US buried him at sea, so his is not in possession.
This is a tactic dating back thousands of years to give less chance for followers to have a place to gather in homage, and let momentum for his passing get any traction. Most recently used to dispose of Nazi war criminals, (less successful with Hitler himself as his cremation was somewhat botched) to prevent an uprising of neonazis, or a rallying place.

Overall makes sense. I just hope those are not fishing waters...

Gotta disagree with you, Tim.

interment: Origin:
1300–50; inter + -ment; replacing Middle English enter ( e ) ment < Middle French enterrement

bury: Origin:
before 1000; Middle English berien, buryen, Old English byrgan to bury, conceal; akin to Old English beorgan to hide, protect, preserve; cognate with Dutch, German bergen, Gothic bairgan, Old Norse bjarga

So interment specifically means burial in terra firma, while burial (in addition to being an older word) means concealment anywhere.

Hey, no problem, lexicography is just another service I provide!

Like fixing bad cables...tonight I spent an hour on the ladder figuring out why the back truss lights have been flicker-y. I'm trying to teach the younger generation how to troubleshoot problems.

What I thought: Oh yeah, it's the crappy mic cable I put in here, in place of DMX, 6 years ago, that drops down and gets pinched behind the backstage door and then comes back up to the lighting grid...I remember thinking, 'this is gonna break sooner or later.'

What I said out loud: "Got 'er fixed! Remember, kids, 90% of network problems are physical problems!"

Re: America F**k YEAH!!!

Thing is that most of the people living on the west have no real knowledge of what is really going on. Muslim world is slowly consolidating in his effort to strike back and retaliate for the damage Christians did since the Crusaders. USA acts in the past decades are just making them stronger and using brute force is far from the solution. Muslims (i.e. Islam fundamentalists) grows in number at a insane rate. Now look at the Libya thing, Ghadafi will fall eventually and then what? A clear field for the fundamentalists to take over. Same thing will happen in Egypt, Tunisia and there goes all Africa bit by bit. The world have given up on Somalia long ago and same thing will repeat in most of the countries there.

Hello Marjan,

While I agree that Islamic Fundimentalism is growing because of Western policies, I disagree that the Muslim World is consolidating anything....especially any organized effort to do anything. These Anti-Western Muslim groups can't agree on anything, they have no common leaders, they have no effective way to fund lunch, much less any concerted effort to cause any major disruptions to the West.

I feel that the Western World Countries are tiring of threats, of living under a dark cloud of cautions, of acts of terrorist bombings, of the bullshit inconveiniences to our daily lives. If any future efforts were made to commit some transgressions, I feel that there will be severe retaliations, like NEVER before. It's really a fight they'd start, to the detriment of their common peoples.

Charlie, they become more and more organized each day. So what is needed is a different strategy. I am not saying that i know what should be done, but i dont think this is going to work.
USA can not police the entire world and as you see all that is greatly affecting the US economy. That means more debts and more and more loans from China. That leads to a different problem.

I'm not sure this is true. Muslims seem to equally hate Christians, Jews, secular capitalists, basically anyone that has a different belief system. The USA is just one of the shiniest targets. Also, links between current Christians and the political actions done "in the name of Christ" 1000 years ago are basically non-existant.

It may be a convenient excuse, but linking current terrorism to the actions of the "Crusades" doesn't hold water. I don't know any current Christians going around killing Muslims, either.

Edit: by "Muslims" I mean radical Muslims, "Fundimentalists", etc. I fully understand that not all Muslims share these militaristic/terroristic beliefs.

Re: well, he had great mic technique

Hmmm?

It's a bit troublesome as to how the "official" details in regards to: Gun/No Gun, Wife/No Wife killed, last Sunday/previous Sunday, 30 minute battle/ 5 minute battle, incident keep changing.

We've already seen the phonied-up photos (that the Government later admitted were phony) Where's the photos? Oh...I forgot, the release may "get the terrorists worked up" (like they wouldn't be worked up already?), that their release would be "in bad taste", or "too disturbing".

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...it's probably a duck.

P.S. Al Qaida even acknowledged that we killed him, but people want to see the photos of him dead.

Oh....so NOW we're supposed to believe Al Qaida?

Al Qaida smells like Operation Claudio, or Native Son.

Now Al Qaida is cooperating with UN forces in Libya to route out the Colonel?

3 Trillion American Dollars spent on finding Terrorists in the last 13 years? Hmmm?
