Several times I have typed out a masterpiece using the "quick reply" window only to accidentally nuke it by then hitting the "Reply To Thread" button on the left. Is there any way we can grey out that button when the quick reply is being used?

It gets pretty frustrating when you do it twice in a row....

Thanks.

I've done that and also lost content by being offline for a few seconds when my wireless service is at the end of its range and glitches. The lesson I learned was to always left click and copy everything before I attempt to send. If it fails (which it has a few times) a right click and "paste" keeps me from all kinds of frustration and woe.

Can he resist the big, candy-like button?

Evidently in my case I can't! lol

Re: Reply to thread button.

Tim,

The forum (tries) to save any information you've typed in... when you're typing you should occasionally see the "Auto-Saved" message appear briefly at the lower right of the text box. If you get bumped off the page or click the wrong button, just go back to the same box you were typing in before and you will hopefully see the "Restore Auto-Saved Content" button appear at the bottom left.
