Ugh was I snow whiteing it and slept through this one, or is it still under the radar? I was looking at the lab gruppen facebook page, and stumbled across a UX 3600 in use... Could it be ? - can anyone comment about it's exisitance,release date, pricing etc...

It's got the updated processor and a mic in, you can run any loudspeaker off it and use the Auto Impulse tool with measurement mic to repair all the time domain ringing in the speaker. Then you run the Auto EQ to fix frequency response problems.

They were hoping to include Auto Crossover in this one but it was too difficult.

Hey Shane,

Yes the UX3600 is soon to be in stock and available for purchase.. it is basically the same as the UX8800, with the following exceptions... No UNet, No AES Input, and USB control as opposed to Ethernet control, it is a 3 input and 6 output version of its bigger brother, the UX8800...
Your distributor should have all the pricing on this new unit for you.

Not sure what Bennett is referring to???

Thank you, Joe. I did have a couple of questions.
1) is there a list of specific EAW speakers that have presets? Personally I'm looking for the LA 128z & LA 325.
2) any plans for Mac platform?

No, at this time the Greybox Leg gain feature is only going to be available on the UX3600

No there is no published list outside of simply installing the UX8800 Greybox Installer onto your computer to find out what greyboxes are available.
There is no greybox for the LA325 nor the LA128, but you could use the LA118 greybox if you would like, but honestly using the standard processing would yield the same results as subwoofers are not Focused.

Yes there are, but probably will not see it until next year... you can run EAWPilot on a Mac running parallels or Boot Camp without issues.

Are the leg gains just wide filters on the input side or are they actually output gains that also adjust the crossover filters?

Also What are EAW Powertools ?

They are filters that are put on the input side of the processing.

That is a completely different topic, but they are a set of "tools" that one would need to purchase if they want to become an "EAW Red Certified" company... more on that later 8)~:cool:~:cool:
