Insert cable from balanced Aux-output?

Hi, we just ordered Behringer X32 that will probably arrive next week.
I will order cables so we can install it properly when it arrives, and I have a question regarding the Aux-output.

I will use another Behringer Rack-mixer's phones output for In-ear monitoring, so I have to send the signal from the X32 > Rack mixer.
Since it's balanced outputs, should I use a insert-cable to connect it to ch 1-2 (L/R) in the Rack-mixer or should I just connect them with a TS cable - Aux out > Line in 1 (L) ?

Thank you!

Re: Insert cable from balanced Aux-output?

I know nothing about the x32, but you should look for a 1/4"-1/4" TRS cable to go from a balanced aux out, to a balanced line in. No insert cables necessary.

Congrats on using you full name in your first post!

Of course I should, guess I wasn't awake when I posted this
Didn't think of the balanced inputs of the Rack-mixer, thank you!

Why would you do that? I'm not familiar with the X32 so I'm not sure what's the difference (inside the X32) between the Aux (TRS) output and the ordinary (XLR) outputs.

It would just be a personal preference to know that ALL my monitor sends are coming from XLR outputs 1,2,3,4 - not AUX 1 output, then XLR outputs 2,3,4. for others

I understand, I thought it was because of some internal routing/editing in the mixer. We use all Aux for monitors, patched to XLR-output's in another rack beneath the mixer going through some EQ's and stuff.
