I have 4 SM 93 Lapel mics being used on Shure ULX systems. 3 of the 4 over time have all gotten the same issue. There is almost NO low end when you speak into them but they still pick up voice it just sounds like you're in a tin can. Also, if you touch the actual cable for the lapel at all you can hear that through the system much louder than the person speaking. So if the presenter moves at all or touches the cable it can be heard and sounds bad. I checked the solder points and everything appears to be connected on all 3 of the bad mics exactly like the good one and wiggling the connections doesn't change the sound. Has anyone had a similar problem and is this something I could easily fix or am i going to have to replace these?

Yup, common death of a WL93. (I assume that's what you meant?) I've gone through a bunch of those. While they're cheap, they end up costing more than an alternative after multiple repairs / replacements.

IIRC, Shure would replace these for $53 (a slight discount from purchasing new). That was a few years ago though, I've quickly learned to stay away from this specific product.
