IPad does not control faders on Soundcraft SI Expression

Reset your router - the "push the button on the box/insert the paper clip" type of reset. You want to go back to the out of the box experience. Port triggering should not be necessary. You should not need to do anything with network settings to make it work. Seriously, get the IP addresses...

Recommendations for a Reliable Soundproofing Company in Fort Lauderdale?

I suggest you start with some DIY learning (not necessarily DIY construction) with this book: https://www.amazon.com/Master-Handbook-Acoustics-Seventh-Everest/dp/1260473597/ What are your expectations for sound transmission loss?

Behringer X32 Producer - low mic levels when recording via USB to Logic Pro X

The full scale display in your DAW is literally ZERO dB Full Scale. You would be out of 1's and 0's. From the early days of digital recording and all of analog recording, "hitting the tape" with the most level before clipping was important from a signal to noise standpoint. With 24 bit words...

Opinions on BOSE 802 Series II (2) PROFESSIONAL LOUDSPEAKER ??!!

I'm one of those people, but in fairness to Bose the equipment they were/are making is based on brand recognition and some actual physics; the question was if those were the right things for a given task, and often they were not. Kind of a classic case of using an under-spec'd device and being...

Powering my gear with a generator.

You can probably power a very small rig like that with a Jackery or similar power bank for hours. You'd have the additional benefit that it would be silent. If you're playing weddings or folk gigs that's probably a big plus.

    Helmholz resonator contruction

I suggest spending a few $ on The Master Handbook of Acoustics, 7th ed, Everest and Pohlmann. https://www.amazon.com/Master-Handbook-Acoustics-Seventh-Everest/dp/1260473597/

    Ferrofluid in Meyer Sound

Ferrofluid, or its remnants, cannot be cleaned out and replaced without removal of the voice coil, which means spider and cone, too.

    Clarify the point

Clipping causes more heat in the voice coil and heat is the long-term enemy of both transducers and electronic components. A clipped waveform has more output which must be dissipated. It's not a form of instantaneous failure, but over time is detrimental. That said, I tended to power-limit...

    Randomly Overheating Blackmagic Design Converters

I'm far, far from stupid. If you want to have a conversation centering on personal attacks, you will loose. Trust me on this one. BMD as a company makes many compromises in design that limits the longevity or functionality of their products but because of the price point, many owners or users...

    Randomly Overheating Blackmagic Design Converters

BMD is for folks with low budgets or who can live with the inherent flaws in Grant Petty's cheap-ass AV products.
