Australia Wireless Mic & IEM Frequency Changes

Re: Australia Wireless Mic & IEM Frequency Changes

What a great gig to be a part of

Opera Østfold - Norges største utendørsopera

So, from what I can guess from Helge's account, the wireless is rental gear? All frequencies according to new regulations?
(Norway has a system where you can find space according to location. finnsenderen.no selecting Østfold in the Fylke pulldown and Halden in Kommune, one can see what frequencies Helge is able to use).
Helge is (obviously a very capable individual) according to my impressions working for himself, a rental company, as a walk-in tech, a walk in sound engineer, any combination of the former etc. etc. so it is hard for the rest of us to keep track.

Re: Australia Wireless Mic & IEM Frequency Changes

Well, I work for anyone who pays a decent rate.
95% of my work right now is on somebody elses gear, so I'm offloading stuff That doesn't pay for itself anymore. Tell me if you need a really great sounding pa, I have one that sadly gets used little these days.

36 channels of wireless, the Akg mics and Turbosound speakers are subhired from DPA Soundco in Denmark, rest of the gear is from Konsertsystemer in Oslo (my employer on this gig).

The studer desk is supplied by the guy doing FOH, he works for the Harman group dealer in Norway.

And yes, all the frequencies is within the regulations. We actually have 64 channels available(10 channels of AKG that might get used later and 4 stereo IEMs as well) and four Telex BTR-700 intercom systems operational.

Some dropout issues due to a tall and wide stage, but no interference between channels as i know of.
