I have 2 of the B&C 21SW152-4 drivers for sale. These are very powerful and very clean drivers with low distortion and very high power handling and output. These drivers are what my Othorn bass horn cabinets are designed around.
The first driver is in excellent condition other than being dusty. 10/10 functionally.
The second driver has had some damage to the cone from an experiment at very high voltage gone awry. It has been repaired with TE2400 rubberized glue and has functioned without issue for the last 2 years but the driver is not cosmetically pretty anymore. However if the driver will be placed in a horn or band pass cabinet you will never be able to see the cone and can save some money. Please see the picture of the cone below.
I also have my pair of Othorn bass horn cabs that are up for sale which were designed around these drivers by yours truly. Full measurements and performance testing results are available by clicking the link in my signature and going to my measurements website. These are the original cabs built by a professional wood shop using 13ply void free BB plywood, Duratex, Speakon jacks, Penn-Elcom corner protectors and input plates, etc...The materials alone for these cabs is well over $400 each. The labor to build these right is not inconsequential either. The cabs are 36x36x24" and are around 115lbs unloaded so these would obviously have to be freight shipped. The cabs do have some gouges and scrapes from being moved. That goes with the territory. I have a list of the drivers that work well in the cabs and also adapter plates to fit 18" drivers or 21" drivers.
I have used these subs for the past 3 years and am only selling them because I am moving on to a different design with different B&C drivers and will no longer be using these. These offer real output down to the 25Hz range with a cabinet loading of 27-28Hz and excellent sound quality over the intended 25-100hz octaves. Just these 2 subs with adequate amplification is overkill for most smaller gigs I did. Great EDM and Dub cabs also due to the extended response. I'm asking for $580 shipped for the undamaged 21SW152-4 driver. $500 shipped for the damaged driver. B&C offers re-cone kits for these as well. I never fixed this driver because as mentioned the issue was cosmetic and the cone was unseen in a horn cab.
I'm asking $425 for each cab + shipping which will have to be freight and arranged by the buyer. Local pickup in the Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Indianapolis area could be arranged for the cabs.
If someone wants the drivers and cabs all together I will do a package deal of $1650 + freight shipping costs for both cabs and both drivers . Buyer makes the freight shipping arrangements. Again local pickup in the Louisville area would be preferred.
