Just cruising around gearsource and noticed this rig. I've never heard it or seen it, but it looks like pretty good bang for the buck on the used market. Does anybody have any experience with this system? good or bad?

I've heard 6 or 8 of the Quartz subs powered by PL380's. It was ok, but I don't feel that it was any better or worse than say, the same number of SRX728's, SB1000's, SB850's, etc. in terms of both output and tonality. I wasn't all that blown away. I *think* they are loaded with some variant of the Eminence Sigma 18.

They can't be very efficient... their whole "gimmick" is using a sealed box and then applying a lot of corrective EQ to achieve the LF corner they want. I'm sure that works well, but you'll probably need to bring a lot more sub than you'd expect.
