Re: Bar/Club stage volume level?!?!
The band in question does give me alot of work through out the year, and I have worked with them for the past 2+ years.
Most of the time there stage volume isn't much of an issue because the venues on there own are not as much of a natural amplifier like this particular one is.
The problem is, is that the band doesn't make the needed changes to be cooperative in this venue.
I have one more show booked with the band at this venue and that will be it for me and this venue. I can survive not having to work in this particular room with any band that I work with, it's just not worth the hassle and the eventual confrontations that happen with the management.
Not a big deal too me, I will just add it to my list!
I already have an entire city I will not work in because the venues/patrons/and parking just suck, and being just a bar band provider by the time I pay the bridge tolls and parking I am down $50 before I even get started, just makes it not worth my time.
