Bargain monitor at MF

This got posted at controlbooth and I thought it might be of interest here.
Used Nady FWA-12 Powered Floor Monitor | Musician's Friend
I would love to know the full story on this, I wonder what size boot was required for the damage. How thick is that front panel, is it even eighth inch plywood? Is this the result of an ankle biter loballing a gig and the obvious result.

It wasn't kicked. Somebody tried to put 50 watts RMS into it.

Well see I had both of the eye hooks from the hardware store screwed into it and the chandelier chain was holding it pretty good, but I guess when I attached the clothes line to do the pull back, the chain slipped off the nails. We tried gorilla glue but the tweeter had a weird buzz to it.
