I'm trying to isolate the sound of a laptop that plays tracks (from multitracks.com) - the laptop plays the sound thru a drum metronome setup to a ch input on an S32. With the fader and gain down - all I need is to allow the musicians/vocalists to hear the tracks thru IEMs without the tracks being heard on the house. The L/R Main on that ch is subdued. Can you assist?

If you are sending a click track to a channel of the mixer (or anything else for that matter, like a musical director's talk mic, that only the band should hear), then you need to make sure that not only is the master fader all the way down, but also that you DO NOT send anything on that channel to FX sends (reverb, delay etc) as those will potentially allow some of the click to bleed through into the main PA. As mentioned previously, you can also turn off the routing to LR as added safety measure.
