Cable Gliders

Hi All,

I have had nothing but success with these suspension devices at various installs, but when mentioned the other day to a colleague his remarks were "you couldn't pay me enough to use them... I've seen them go wrong". Wasn't the time or place to discuss it further, haven't yet followed it up with him, but I figured I'd put it out there for anyone else to comment on. They have Europe's BGV-C1 rating which I believe is pretty stringent.

When you have access to the roof space, and you leave the excess cable neatly tied up there, they make servicing a breeze ~~:smile:

I've used them for some temporary installations. They work well provided they are used within their working loads (which aren't all that high).

I am not familiar. They look a lot quicker than the rope clips I am accustomed to. Wish I knew about these when I was hanging 24 paper lanterns a week or so ago.
