Case for Flat Pars

Re: Case for Flat Pars

i have 8 American DJ FlatPar QA12X LED Lights and I'm looking for an idea of 2 cases holding 4 lights each and I'm not sure what to go with. I'm thinking small trunks with wheels, ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

We use old video projector cases (from back when 1200 lumen projectors weighed 80#) for fixtures like the FlatPar. Closest thing that came to mind is this: MSC-1648 . Order 1 small divider and put 4 units on each side. There will be some room on top for cords.

I have the audiopile ewi case. It is not long enough to leave the flat pars on their t bar. Next option I think I will be looking at a pair of keyboard cases.

Re: Case for Flat Pars

I built a simple wooden case on wheels for my lights. It also doubles as a light stand carrier or other thing (4 wedges fit on top too). I say I built it for $100-150.

Size: Length is roundly 49" (light bar is 48" and there is some play on each end), width is around 16" and height is about 22".

My light bars are all pre-wired up and the only thing I need to run up to them is 1-2 XLRs and 1 Extension cord.
