Clamps and such....

So I have some new fixtures coming in and they’re going to need some clamps.

Currently most of my clamps are (Global Truss Pro Clamp - Heavy Duty Clamp). So I debating on just ordering more of them or switching to clamps from The Light Source. The nice thing about The Light Source clamps are that I can get them engraved with my company logo, and I really like the Light Source style Wing Nut. The primary application for these clamps would be for ETC Source 4 pars and source 4 style LED pars weighing 10.6 lbs.

So it’s down to one of the following:
- Mega-Coupler (The Light Source)
- Mega-Claw (The Light Source)
- Pro Clamp - Heavy Duty Clamp (Global Truss)
- Something else

What are your thoughts?

For lightweight fixtures like you mentioned, I like the Global Truss Trigger Clamps.

No need for Mega-Claws for those fixtures. If you want a wrap-around clamp, I'd go with the Mega-Coupler. Otherwise, I'd stick with Mega-Clamp if you want aluminum, or the old standby cast-iron clamps from Altman, ETC, or others.
