COB LED, the new Chip On Board stuff

I see Chauvet and AMDj have 30w COB LED stuff out.
A little searching finds some 100w and 150w pro stuff.
Has anyone played with any of it? There's a lot of talk of it being bright and being easier to look at.
Just curious.

I am using some Elation Cuepix on a tour right now that have the COB. It's crazy bright, but still have the LED intensity that makes it hard to look at.
