Re: Damn anklebitters I've experienced this time and time again during my days mixing a band that played a lot of benefit and community events. Something or other goes wrong at the event and for NO MORE than 72 hours the committee that "organized" things acknowledge their error and have every intention of doing things correctly for the next year.Then they spend the next six months forgetting everything they've "learned" from their mistakes and make them all over again the next time.We do this all the time. These well meaning people only "produce" events once or twice a year. I kind of feel sorry for them."Professional" event planners, on the other hand, I have NO sympathy for whatsoever.
