There are 4 physical 'omni outs' which can be individually assignable to anything you want. An ADA8000 will add an additional 8 outputs, but those can only be assigned in pairs rather than individually. The 16 buses are essentially the same as subgroups, but they cannot be routed back to the L-R mix like normal subgroups. They can be used as outputs for zones or whatever though.
