John Roberts made a funny and I wanted to give him a thumbs up but it seems that the 'like' feature is g,g,gone.

We have removed specifically the ability to like posts by John Roberts. We are worried it is going to his head.

In short, they're gone for now, but old likes are still in the DB, and will return with future upgrades.

I'd be curious to know which plugin you'll use for that, now that vbSEO is finished. I'm looking to add the likes function as well and there's a few ways to do it, it seems.

We're going to avoid using 3rd party plugins wherever possible, as they bring potential security concerns to SFN.
We'll probably hold off on this until we upgrade to vBulletin 5.

Whew! So never, then. That's a relief.
Pretty sure IB will be out of business before vb5 is ever completed.

Yah, Harmony Central recently did an "upgrade" to VB5 and it's been a total disaster - traffic WAY down
. OTOH now I have plenty of time to keep up here .
