Hi All,

This is my first time posting so excuse me if I am not abiding by any rules of the forum.
I am a sculpter from Australia, living in Sweden, who regularly works with sound, and I was wondering whether any of you might be able to help me out with a looped recording.

I have a field recording of a bird that I wanted to use as a template for capturing reverb over time. I wanted to use a stereo mic at one end of a cathedral to capture the field recording being played from the other end of the space. Then to play that recording and capture it again, and so on, and so on, and so on, and so on. I have experimented just with an AT897 Shotgun Mic and a Zoom H4n recorder so far, but my biggest issue is with the platform to create (and to automate as much as possible) the loop of the gradually lengthening recording.

I have spoken to sound technicians from my past and theyve directed me here http://fernandoquiros.com/articles/140426-pure-data-looper/ to a pure data mechanism.
Although I cant say I have had much luck so far.

ANY ADVICE YOU HAVE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED,

Thank you

HUGO
