I wouldn't want to have to figure out all the delay times for the different loudspeaker arrays.
Seems like the balcony is covered a lot better than the lower level, but there appear to be multiple systems up there. Are there separate rigs for the talk show and the musical guest?

I like how beat up the what is about a $200,000 video lens is on the middle camera. If you think pro sound equipment is expensive go price network broadcast quality video equipment!

I didn't realize the house was that small. Doesn't look like it seats more than a couple hundred people total.
And it must have been hella hot in there with all those cameras and TV lights.

It was originally a 1200 seat theater, brought down to about 400-450 for the Letterman show, a lot of the back balcony was blocked off.

Can anyone identify the loudspeakers? I think the line arrays for the balcony look like Clair, but I don't recognize any of the other boxes.

It was often commented on the Letterman show about how cold the room was.

Sorry to see Letterman go, but with any luck Colbert with live up to the task. I still enjoy the John Cleese "toast" episode.
